Sorry for the delay. I had loaned out the lens and had to get it back. Good thing too because I forgot all about it.

This is some bokeh of the 50/1.8G at f3.2

Walked across the Harbour Bridge and went up one of the lookout towers. You can actually climb the bridge itself but you aren't allowed any cameras or phones or anything - I did it 10 years ago...

Two stitched panos, both handheld:

6 shot with Sony A7R3 and FE 24 70 f/2.8GM

I got myself a Tamron 24-70mm (version 1) - took a while to get used to the heft of it, but I like it a lot.

A 50/1.8G came with my Df. I've only used it once. I'll give it a bokeh test when I get a chance and post it here for you. Of course with its 7 aperture blades lights won't be as round as with the 9 rounded blades on say the 58/1.4G when stopped down a little.

Here is some bokeh on the 85/1.8G

Lovely pose.

A picture posted back in 2013. I exposed for the highlights and had to pull up the shadows due to harsh sun/shadows the kayak was in. The colors sucked. It had that ugly brown tone to it I'd see so often when I would pull up the shadows too much on a Sony senor. So recently I revisited the picture and converted to monochrome to try and salvage it for better or worse.

At the Robe Canyon Race of Champions event.

Well hello everyone! :)

Gear used....
  • Nikon D610 DSLR
  • AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G
  • AF-S NIKKOR 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G ED VR
  • Tiffen Circular polarizing filter

I have really been amazed by the difference from my APS-C Canon 40D, when I sold it and upgraded to my Nikon D610 full frame sensor. I've had an absolute blast with this camera, and it's so much more versatile over the crop sensor (in my opinion). It's also more forgiving if you have to recover from accidental overexposure / underexposure (it happens to the best of us!).

I still want to get a Pentax FF so that I can use my SMC Pentax-M 50mm 1.4 on it. That lens is so yummy.

24-85mm ED VR @ 85mm / F8 / 160th / ISO 100

24-85mm ED VR @ 66mm / F5 / 800th / ISO 100

50mm 1.8G / F2 / 800th / ISO 200

50mm 1.8G / F2 / 1600th / ISO 200

24-85mm ED VR @ 85mm / F4.5 / 500th / ISO 100

50mm 1.8G / F4 / 125th / ISO 100

50mm 1.8G / F1.8 / 4000th / ISO 100

24-85mm ED VR @ 80mm / F8 / 80th / ISO 100

24-85mm ED VR @ 35mm / F8 / 100th / ISO 100

24-85mm ED VR @ 45mm / F8 / 80th / ISO 400

Thank you sir! I have 95 more i wanted to post in my 'Gallery' / 'Album' .. but apparently my current limit is 4mb... and the 16 photos I had uploaded 4+ years ago apparently already have me over my limit *chuckle*. I did spent $3,000ish at B&H photo a couple years ago, so I sent a message to Adam to ask if that purchase would count since I was already a member, and still have my receipts and didn't use them to get 'Sponsor' level.

Good luck with that! It will be up to B&H probably.
