I am currently looking for a flash for my Sony Alpha a230 DSLR that I'm going to need for my Intermediate Studio class.

Does anyone have any recommendations/suggestions on a flash? Does anyone know any brand that is compatible with the sony alpha brands?

The Metz Mecablitz 48 AF-1 TTL is a nice 3rd-party flash for the Sony Alpha DSLRs.
