What should i add next to my bag?

1. Merlin Steadicam $8XX CAD
2. Monopod GM 3551 $319 CAD
3. GF1 w 20 1.7/ X100 $749/$1300CAD

Decisions...decisions...decisions *sighs*

Depends on your needs. Very different price ranges you have here, too. You can get option 1 & 2 for the price of #3.

unfortunately i have no needs just all wants...lol but 1+2=3 is a good point, i think i'm going to do that now. Prices of gitzo seems to be going down sligthly since i've been watching the shoptron site, i picked up a traveller kit earlier this month and this has sent me into shopping mode. That monopod would be very useful travelling if i don't want to carry a tripod and would certainly help with the 70-200+2x with gripped 7D and the Merlin would improve my videos immensely with all of my cameras that do video. The GF1/X100 can wait awhile i suppose.

Option 1 is pretty cheap. Always have the problem with new cameras in that I know full well that by the time I make the decision to buy, it will be superseded with kit that is better. Oh ,for the good old days when the camera was basically a box with a shutter ,meter and various fancy extras and the "skill" element was to choose the right film and lens combinations, followed by skillful darkroom work.

I went with the GM2451 $259 plus addon fees/taxes $300ish instead and the steadicam i'll pick up locally as i'm not getting any sale online unless someone can tell me where to find it lower than $849 plus taxes CAD?, plus i want to try it at a friend's wedding coming up
