Canon 7d

I tried out my friend's new 7d with L-series 24-70. It is a lovely beast. The autofocus is perfect, the build is excellent and the metering is spot on. The L produces great colors to boot. A lovely beast but still a beast. I couldn't imagine carrying it around all day, like a boat anchor around my neck. I loved the camera, but now I appreciate the slim Pentax even more.

This is why i started my crusade for the perfect compact and like the Crusades, the journey continues. I was also forced into getting better as in hopefully more reliable support.

Precisely why I abandoned my E-3 for Micro Four Thirds - these top-end APS bodies are amazingly powerful tools, but subtle they ain't...

Going off the A77 I'd say that this is a trend that will continue :ugh:
