Well... My favourite "135", the Vivitar 135 mm f/2.8 CF has an over 360 degree focus throw (but a macro of 1:2 is available).
I keep telling myself that it helps to focus very precisely ;-)
There is that.

From recent walk, where I tried to do some street shooting. That wasn't very productive though, I usually take better ones with a phone. This kind of shooting really needs a proper mood (not a case here) and the best camera is obviously what I have in a moment. All taken with SE 18 and Cron 90.

Quick baby snap using the Lens Turbo and 50/1.7.

Uncropped version here.
Lovely capture. Can you share your LensTurbo experience with various Pentax lenses, especially about soft corners.

The lens turbo plays well with the 50/1.4. Corner softness isn't much of an issue at f1.4 (the background will be very soft anyway!) but note in the 'Danger Deep Water' sign shot above, the background blur is a bit uneven into the corners. But it's OK.

The doorway was at f5.6, and you can see some softness in the upper corners but not the lower. I think that's because the grass is in front of the door, and the lens turbo seems to cause front focussing at the corners. Worth bearing in mind when you are selecting your focus point. I should have deliberately backfocussed the shot slightly so that the corners were sharper, but the door was still in the range of DOF.

Great images in this thread...

Been lurking here awhile - this is one of my favorite threads on PF.

Got a Pentax 100mm f4 macro lens from Aristophanes and been enjoying it. St. Johns Wort flowers:

I've been trying to build a lightweight kit for hiking without a large expense should damage occur. I'm thinking this macro is going to be a part of that kit. Lot of fun for the weight.

I'm understanding the advantages of IBIS for macros, along with f2.8 lenses. I was using 1600 iso which is not ideal. I suppose a lens turbo would be nice for an application like this.

I like these, they look good with the grain. Please post more often.

I've got the same impression, it seems that focus plane with Lens Turbo is more curved and the corners (bottom) go out of focus, especially with wide angle lenses at larger apertures, like here (clickable):

(NEX-6, Lens Turbo, Canon FD 28 mm f/2.8 @f/2.8)

Stopping down the lens to f/11 helped to get rid off the problem:

Some more samples from this lens on my blog.

Emacs, I always love your panos. I really need to give this a try sometime. I need to put your pointers to good use.

Michele, some excellent stuff on your blog; and I really like this second shot. I ordered the FD booster. The prices are coming down, it should be fun to play with.

An Unflattering Photo.

This was an unflattering photo, taken in poor light, poor everything. I used a few of the standard tricks like clarity and luminance and fixed the exposure. I'm sure she'll still hate it. I would probably be murdered in my sleep if I posted the original, so this will have to suffice.

Kevin, I really like dreamy quality of that portrait. Emacs, what do you use to stitch your panos? My nephews had a water fight this afternoon. It was a fun excuse to get some use out of my Contax 90mm and my new Rainbow adapter (can't recommend the adapter though it *usually* likes the 90mm).

More Lensturbo, + K135/2.5:

The bulk of the shoot was on K10d with speedlights and umbrellas.

Kenafein and Michelek - thanks for the macro comments - much appreciated. Still having fun with that lens.

Michelek, impressive pics in your blog. particularly liked how you made those grasses and still water images come alive!
