Nice.
I can't get over the texture on the ear hair (and what hair it is)!

A bit off topic, but related to the NEX system which I've come to love - a blog post of Trey Ratcliffes switching to NEX-7 from D800.
If Sony puts touch screen into NEX-6 or 7 I might be tempted to upgrade from my 5R.
One of his suggestions for Sony I totally agree with: connect to Google glass. It's about time for a better way of view finding than peeping through a little hole. And watch out for an Apple mirrorless, it'll have tons of apps

Bimjo: like the third the best. Slightly better combo of colors and lack of flare.

Sony just opened their WiFi API for the NEX cameras so all it will take is an enterprising developer to write an app. I've never used Google Glass (and I find the whole appeal kind of odd) but I believe it would need a smart phone to actually run the app and mirror itself display to the Glass? Or can the Glass itself run apps? Well, now we're getting way off topic...

Runs its own apps, Joel, but tethers to something else for Internet access.

Reproducing

1/25 sec, f/3.5, 30mm, iso 800, -1 Ev

Resting

1/320 sec, f/3.2, 30mm, iso 100, -1 Ev
big crop near 1/10th of the original

DeYoung Museum In A Distance

1/500, f/7.1, 19mm, iso 100, 0 Ev

San Francisco Street Scene

1/2500 sec, f/3.2, 19mm, iso 100, 0 Ev

All are taken with nex 5N. I wish to have a viewfinder as in nex 6 as the sun in afternoon really gets in the way of framing when I use 19mm in San Francisco. I have a LCD pop out screen already but when the sunlight is too strong, I can only rough guess on the framing.

I don't know when, the Sigma 60mm will be in my Lowepro Event Messenger bag some day

shot with Sigma 30mm wide open in f/2.8

Cheers,
Hin

These are both really great. Something about that second one really grabs me. Interesting angle and composition but also a kind of tension between the child (daughter?) playing innocently in the sand and the some what ominous sky.
