Samsung NX lens roadmap for 2012: five new lenses, NX20 and NX1

This is the Samsung NX lens roadmap for 2012. Five new lenses are listed, two for the first half and three for the second half of 2012:

55mm f/1.8 iFn pancake
12-24mm f/4 ED iFn VCM (Voice Coil Motor)
80-400mm f/4-5.6 OIS SSA iFn
135mm f/2 OIS SSA iFn
24mm f/1.8 ED SSA iFn

Only the 12-24mm and 55mm pancake are ready to be released. The NX20 will be totally different than the NX10. Samsung is also working on a NX1 model.
The 2012 roadmap will be officially announced in January, 2012 (probably at CES).

Looks interesting, but I prefer NEX due to the simple fact I can't install the Biogon 21 f2.8 ZM onto the NX

If the 55 is really a pancake (say, same size or slightly bigger than the 30mm), I'll buy it ASAP...
This 30mm is really a gem...

Those are all very exciting offerings. I expect the NX20 to be the winner over the NX200, a good EVF with this lens lineup is win win.

Emacs, the Sony certainly works better as a sensor platform for legacy glass, but Samsung is really going all out on their lens lineup. I know the Leica mount doesn't add much to the NEX, but all the other mounts do. NX with pancakes is a really affordable and compact system. I want to see a full review on this new sensor.

Do these cameras use Pentax glass or something? I'm not sure why I'd be interested.

You realize this is the non-Pentax subforum, right? I think maybe you got a little lost...

Samsung does sell a KA adapter for a reasonable price.

Pretty impressive. Samsung really is making it's platform attractive with it's glass offerings (what a novel idea )

I kinda lust after that 24 1.8 and 135 f2...

Yeah it looks like they have the rights to Pentax's optical formulas from the previous partnership (50-200, 12-24), but they're really making some of their own exciting lenses with the pancakes and the two you mentioned sound like really nice fast glass. My 135/2.5 Tak is pretty big though, I wonder if the 135/2 will be too big for that little body (Though my TAK is full frame).

They were working on a 300mm f2.8 also. I saw a picture of a Samsung guy holding one, but I can't recall where I saw it.

Great...except for the fact that Samsung has yet to deliver wide availability on any of the lenses on their CY2011 roadmap, and they've only got about 2.5 months to do so!
