Thank you, Rupert. Yes, we had a really nice time. Those grandkids kept us hopping though. Lol.

This is a great B&W. I like the range of tones, and then the circles amidst all the angular lines.

Thanks, Colton. I really like how the X100 can render black and white. I keep it set at jpeg, but would have liked a raw file on this one...

I did a jpg/raw B&W comparison when I first got my X100, and I found that I liked the raw versions developed in ACDSee. That being said, I think the in camera B&W jpegs from the X100 are better than most other digital cameras.

Speaking of X100 B&W, this is from a few weeks ago. RAF processed in ACDSee Pro 6.

I find it strange to see digital pictures from you Colton, I can't remember the last time you posted any. Good to see that your style and eye for an image doesn't vary depending on the format

Here are some more from New Mexico. I used Nik HDR Efex on these. I love the difference it made. The sun was unforgiving, and I wasn't exactly taking my time that day.

It has been quite awhile since I've shot digital for anything more than photos of my cameras.
The other day I got really inspired to go out with my X100 and do some shooting. The X100 really is an amazing camera, and I missed using it.
