My one issue with auto focus is that the focus points are fairly large and the depth of field wide open is narrow enough that it's not uncommon for it to miss focus by a little bit,
e.g. it'll focus on the bridge of the nose instead the eye.
...
On my x100 I can change the size of that green focus box in the view finder to be smaller. I assume the XP1 has that too. I think that should help narrow the focus points?

Thanks. Their function is to rapidly recover cars which have been sent around corners too fast and crashed (a frequent occurrence) and then get them back in the race again.

That place setting is also missing a fork, if you will look closely. Somebody didn't wait for everybody to get to the table.....

I like the slot car track shots Mike I haven't seen one of them in a long time. We had one in my town in the late '60's called the lucky ten (10 lanes).

Yep, until I can process the files in lightroom I'm not going to shoot RAW with this camera.
And honestly, I'm pretty happy with the JPEG output, I may never shoot RAW with this one.

You guys stop picking on my dinner...I slaved for hours over a hot stove and grill to prepare that meal! The smaller plate is Mrs Rupert's, she eats like a little birdie. Her fork is missing because she was standing behind me poking me with it to "hurry up" so we could eat!

Love my Pentax lens cap on my X10 hood, don't you? After all, this is the camera Pentax should have made instead of the Q that has no viewfinder. See how neat it would have been as a Pentax!

MAC...Very nice shooting with the X-Pro...I hope you keep posting them here for us to view....fantastic!

Mike....Always love your shots, they are always interesting. I'm trying to imagine grown men racing little toy cars, and I'll be damn, it seems like a hell of a lot of fun to me. I wouldn't mind getting in on some of that action!

You guys all take photos, I know you do...so just keep posting them right here where they belong!

Best Regards!
