Poo! I won't waste my time reading their dribble. I trust my experience more than anything DPR has to say!

Tonite was birthday night. Granddaughter and her boy friend both have birthday this week, so tonight was the nite. The cakes were made of ice cream so speed was of the essence. Those cakes were melting fast! Four different flavors of ice cream! They soon melted into one original flavor! :-) They are both avid outdoor types, hunting and fishing is what they live for! Dinner was BLT's. Those kids love BLT's. BLT's and potato salad.

I want an ice cream cake!

I've been trying to pan while on the streets, but it's quite difficult. And then I managed to get one clear shot (the biker) and the pole gets in the way!

Hay that's fantastic! The motorcycle rider was great! That is very difficult to do and you nailed it! You done good!

My other hobby is making scale model live steam locomotives. I tried to capture, using the X10, the engine frozen with the back ground and wheels blurry! Never really quite got it right. Close, but not close enough......

Still that's a very nice job panning!

I've given panning a few tries now and then. It's not easy for sure. The only half-interesting one I've ever got so far was on my film camera where trial-n-error on picking a good shutter speed is a slow learning process.

Love those Ice Cream Cakes....who wouldn't! The train is also pretty neat!

Motorcycle shot is neat too.....Tuco, your dog shot hurts my eyes too on a day after a rough night!

I am not a panner....but if I was I would practice on Squirrels, they make great targets, except when it is Mid-Summer and over 100F every day......they are like snails.

This one was shot on July18 2011......and Otis was moving fast, he heard the horn honk on the Beer Delivery Truck!

Regards!

Such subtle scorn! Any astute mammal that relishes beer......well, can't be all bad! I've been known to exhibit similar behavior! Doubt if the lowly X10 could capture my lighting fast reflexes at securing a Killian's Red.

The model steam locomotives are fun. I've only made three so far. That's plenty..... Think photography is pricey? Those things will bring tears to your eyes.

Gold popper, Interesting photo! Any chance of seeing it in color? Wonder what it sounds like? Rather nice I suspect!

This was from an art festival currently running in Sydney on Cockatoo Island. I dont have the exact same picture/perspective in color as that one was an infra red filter. This one is a color with an ND110 filter, pretty much the same angle. Still have more but haven't sorted or processed them all to jpgs yet.

I knew it! I like that! Course the value is in the eye of the creator! Colors is nice, IMO.

Was out checking pumps this evening and we had a nice sunset. Damn power line ruins the shot but we need power for the pumps so that's the price.

And a normal one with just contrast adjusted. Allows for better look at the chimes.
