Hell, I need to start paying attention! Sorry Stan! You know how it is though, when you get old and reach down to pick up that stick in the yard and discover it not only is flexible, it comes with a little rattling sound.

So Will is not dead, he just doesn't like us over here anymore? Whatever? He always was a tempermental one. Sort of like Mrs Rupert......you just never know what side of the bed she will wake up on. Maybe Will can visit us on some of his "better days"? I will promise to be nice.

Regards!

BTW- I got me some different cheese curds yesterday. The first ones were just plain. These are jalapeno, and they are delicious! Ate half a bag full last night after that filet. Sprinkled liberally with Tabasco, they are better than candy!

Since not being able to work for quite some time now, I was on a mission of sorts to make my x100 purchase as low budget as possible. But, I am kind of addicted to accessorizing these little cameras, plus I need help with holding on to these things since my hands don't work so well anymore. Through some ebay trawling and other research, I've outfitted my x100 for a pretty good price. Plus, I can hold on to it now!

JB Camera Designs body grip $35
Lensmate thumb rest used $27
49mm - 25mm step down ring for hood $2.50
Op/Tech wrist strap $9

Looks good Stan, and if it helps you, even better. My X20 is pretty nicely dressed just like she is, but she is asking about a nice Fuji flash. I told her that I agree with Mike that an expensive flash is a waste of money....but you know how they are, after all it's not their money!

I kept the original Fuji X10 case for my X20, but did order one of these for Mrs Rupert's new X10....the one that was my old X10......

That's a beautiful case Runpert! Nothing like the feel and smell of real leather.

Ha! Sarah gives me that look sometimes when I am in "beer shooting" mode

Nice set of photos. While I am glad that Portland is situated east of the coastal range....and thus protect a bit from the weather.....sometimes it would be nice if Portland was right on the water.

What a beautiful spring day! Temperature got up to 58F - things are just starting to green up around here. Actually might have to start mowing in the next few days. It's been such a long hard winter, shots like this just make me smile! (x100)

Good find for a thumb rest.
I made an adapter using two 49mm filters, wish I had silver ones.

I think your adapter ring looks good in black.

I was glad to find the thumbrest as it really helps me. I just can't for the life of me understand how those things cost $125 from Match Technical..........
