While in Brownwood for the Roller Derby girls, we had time to visit the old jail, now turned into a museum. This is what Toy Cameras are made for, quick shooting in a small compact package, inconspicuous yet effective.
A shot of a painting at the entrance...the jail cells are on the 2nd floor.

Not a welcome sight if you are in trouble here....

Cold in the winter...hot in the summer....hard steel all the time.

A bath in the winter would have been an adventure to miss....

Only one cell had its own toilet and sink...

Big exercise room....When I was about 5-6 my uncle was the sheriff here, and when I got in trouble, which was many times a week, he would lock me in here with a few toy trucks.....it was a fun place to play for a few hours. Lots of pigeons outside and I would crack a few windows and let them in. Got in more trouble......nothing new to me.

After a while the steel door would open and I'd be free again!

Could have been worse....I'm pretty sure my uncle considered it.

The Pro Low Light setting is perfect for inside shooting in low or mixed light where there are lots of dark shadows. Beats a flash, and for still subjects it is hard to beat. Love my Toy Camera X20!
