Well aware this is a pentax forum. What kind of mount does the Sears KS Auto have? Is it manual or auto focas? Does it have a slef timer? Any opinions on this camera? I cant find a manual online.

Quick search shows that the Sears KS Auto is the same as a Ricoh XR-2s (or maybe just XR-2, where the 2s accepts a winder and the 2 doesn't). Some info here: Ricoh XR-2s

Looks like it is just a K mount.

...and the XR-2s is a nice camera. I have one and it is one of my preferred film shooters. My only complaint is that it is hard to find one where the self-timer lever has not been broken off. Here is mine next to my KX:
