I would have to agree, there. I find that my 5S does very well under normal circumstances and even in abnormal. It's surprisingly good at wringing out the best of the light in almost any but dead dark situations.

And I just love Hipstamatic

There are other phone apps as well which are really excellent, but I find that Hipstamatic and the built-in app are enough for me, for now.
Cool images, kyteflyer - I'll have to give Hipstamatic a look.

Upgraded my Sony Z1 for a Panasonic CM1. Still a 20 megapixel sensor, but a 1 inch sensor - the same as in the Z1000. Not only that but I can also shoot in RAW, and the aperture on the 28mm equivalent Leica lens goes from f/2.8 to f/11. Here are some shots from London today using it as I wander around:

1. f/5.6 ISO 400 1/50

2. f/8 1/80 ISO 400

3. f/5.6 2 seconds handheld ISO 125

4. f/5 ISO 800 0.5 secs handheld

5. f/5.6 1.3 secs handheld, ISO 400

1. f/8 1/50 ISO 125

2. f/8 1/30 ISO 400

3. f/7.1 1/50 ISO 200

Great technical quality, although 3×2 image format makes it less desirable. I am a square lover though )

You can choose 4:3 (my preferred ratio) 3:2 as default, 16:9, 1:1 The resolutions are 18mp, 20.2, 17 and 13mp respectively.
