The color and monochrome versions were captured with an iPhone 6S Plus in Curtiss Hall at Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan. The monochrome version was processed in Silver Efex Pro.
I welcome comments (either by PM or in the thread).
Best wishes!

High desert superbloom

Heavy winter rains spilled over into the high desert of southern California creating an intensity of color and aroma I've not seen in 50 years of riding out there.

The bloom is peaking just now.

Flowers, butterflies and caterpillars were encountered everywhere on our 45-mile ride, today.

Wife's Galaxy S6.

I've been using a Pixel2 for some time now and despite the obvious limitations am regularly impressed by the things it does well. Having such a tool to hand is retaining my interest in photography during a period of life that doesn't permit the usual practice or pursuit.
