A few from me, most with the Oly 12-40mm f2.8. The middle picture of a church interior is using Oly's high-res mode on my E-M5 Mark II which produces a huge RAW of 63.7 mpx (well over 9000 x 6000). I've been trying it quite a lot lately. Tripod or at least a firm base required, subject needs to be still, shutter delay needs to be on to avoid camera shake, but pretty good when it all comes together. The system defeats the Bayer array so colour and acuity are better. I'm using it more often now. Better still, Lightroom seems to have got on top of the file format so these big RAWs are fully editable in LR rather than having to use the Oly software.

The top picture is of a typical village church in this area. They are all old and there is rarely anyone around so one can photograph them quite undisturbed. That particular village has been going since 632 AD and I doubt all that much has changed. Pace of life there struck me as a tad slow. Probably not much local news since the Vikings turned up in the ninth century or so.

Some of these shots taken with the new Lumix 35-100 F2.8 II. The rest with the 12-35 F2.8 I. Both mounted to a pair of GX85s for a small but powerful kit.

The "good" old days -
------------------------------

A.D. 633. This year King Edwin was slain by Cadwalla and Penda, on Hatfield moor, on the fourteenth of October. He reigned seventeen years. His son Osfrid was also slain with him. After this Cadwalla and Penda went and ravaged all the land of the Northumbrians; which when Paulinus saw, he took Ethelburga, the relict of Edwin, and went by ship to Kent. Eadbald and Honorius received him very honourably, and gave him the bishopric of Rochester, where he continued to his death.
