My Three 'sons' - taken with a K-50 cropped & re-lighted.

A brief point in time, as one (probably two!) must go.

Couldn't resist and pulled the trigger on brand new GX9+LEICA DG SUMMILUX 15/F1.7 for 1000 EUR -- massively impressive combo,
The 15mm f1.7 is a really nice and fun to use compact lens that is always in my bag. A friend bought a GX9 recently and he seems to appreciate it so far. I've not seen one in store so far but the evf configuration seems interesting.

The 15mm f1.7 is awesome: light, snappy and quiet (inaudible even) focus, sharp too. My next Pentax lens (who knows when) is going to be the FA31

And this tilting viewfinder is such a big weapon to have in your arsenal. I almost think of it as invaluable, must-have in every camera now . People complain of the image quality of the viewfinder but personally, I can't fault it and I think the online moaners are too harsh sometimes

Hi,

It is 'Fotasy DA-m4/3' adapter, it allows stopping down with DA lenses, and shooting wideopen. Simple and works well as is.

I still have a way to go getting comfortable with the OLY E-M1MarkII (I'm a slow learner) but am impressed with the M. Zuiko 60/2.8 Macro--this is a 2.5 Mp crop:

Is the first one a euphonium (baritone)?

I had no clue until yours. I just looked it up and it's a specific type of euphonium called a marching baritone.

My son plays the euphonium. He picked it up in fifth grade - he wanted to participate in band, and the teacher demonstrated the various instruments.
He came home and announced that he wanted to play euphonium because (his words): ``it sounds like a cross between a foghorn and a fart''. He has
stuck with it (he's in ninth grade now).
