Guess I'm the guinea pig this time. :P

The price used been going up like crazy on m.zuiko lenses so after seeing a review showing how small it is, as well as some awesome shots showing a decent dof at least past 200mm, I decided I better go get that one before someone else did. I'm pretty sure it was more than I've ever spent on a lens, but xmas money(which has a spousal lifespan of about 20 minutes) raised the pain threshold some. I also saw a couple of great looking stacks of pentax-m primes going cheap. I already had most of those so it would have been silly to pay that much for duplicates just to get that nice 200mm. If I had one red cell of salesman in me I'd get them anyway, but I'm a packrat(is 4 50mm pk lenses enough?). Now that I bought something that urge will pass. (phew) --no really it will...

I only have one panasonic lens, a 20mm f2 but it mostly keeps the pk manuals happy in the big bag. I think I might use it more if I did more street(country mouse) but for daily use the little pancake 14-40mm ez stays on it the most as the 20mm is too tight for sunrise drive time action, and the little collapsible zoom focuses like a yellow jacket on a dog's back.

I couldn't help myself and went and looked up that panleica 100-400mm ...and my heart stopped. x.x

I am not going back to look at those pentax-m's again...nope.. not doing it.

Wow, glad I invested in my m43 used lens stash early last year, then.

I have:

the Oly 1.8 'trinity': 17mm, 25mm and 45mm
the f8 body cap lenses: 9mm 'fisheye' and 15mm
a Tamron 14-140 zoom
Pany 14mm f2.5
and two 14-42 EZ Zoom lenses (bought E-M10 II and III kits new, one is silver for the III and black for the II)

Turning down both the sharpness and the saturation in recent Panasonic models creates a very nice output for the standard JPEG style, in my experience.
I would like to thank you for your suggestion.

I turned the sharpness two points down and the saturation one. Now the output is ok, from my point of view.

That's good to hear! I just tried out the LX100II for a bit, and found this trick unfortunately doesn't seem to work for that camera. Even though the sensor and processing is supposed to be like the GX9, it just doesn't give the same files, or the JPEG settings are different, or something. Turning things down as described just makes those files look very flat.
