I have a big shoe-mount Godox, an AD200 almost-a-studio-monolight with all its accessories, and the remote trigger. All have worked in a 100% satisfactory manner on all my MFT camera bodies. I have used the remote trigger both in TTL and manual modes with the AD200 and it works fine. The only caveat = me remembering to be sure that the remote trigger is set to the correct channel and that the camera is in normal shutter mode, not silent/electronic shutter.

Would that let me use the flashpoint I got for Pentax with my KP via these triggers on my Olympus and Panasonic bodies?

Would that set-up be able to do manual as well as TTL?

Just curious as I've got Flashpoint/Godox(O) flashes and the X-PRO(O), which I can mount on my K-3II and trigger the flash in manual mode only as the pin configuration on the hotshoes are different.

Yes, both. I might get one for myself. It's a really good price.

Thanks, Mbaez. I'll have to keep an eye out for a similar sale on the Pentax version of this trigger.

BEWARE! BEWARE: The remote control GODOX that goes into your hot shoe is DEDICATED TO A PARTICULAR CAMERA OR SYSTEM (= MFT). They are not cross-compatible because the electric contacts in the hot shoe are differently spaced and positioned, and may serve different functions in different cameras/systems. Similarly, shoe-mounted strobes are not cross-compatible. You cannot just put Nikon-branded strobe on a Pentax or MFT and have it work correctly. Similarly, the GODOX shoe-mounted strobes are dedicated to Pentax OR MFT. They will not function on both WITH THIS EXCEPTION. The GODOX AD200 is a non-hot-shoe, monolight-like unit that is not dedicated to any particular camera flash system. With the correct on-shoe control unit, it can be operated by any camera system, BUT YOU WOULD NEED TWO SHOE-MOUNTED CONTROL UNITS, one for Pentax, a second for MFT

If you have a Pentax-dedicated GODOX hot-shoe strobe, mount it off-camera and try to operate it via a GODOX remote control that's dedicated to and mounted on an MFT camera, will it work correctly? That I do not know.

I just ordered the Flashpoint R2 Mark II TTL Transmitter for Pentax Cameras (X2T-P) from Adorama for $29.99 that was posted in the Price Watch Forum. I'm expecting that it operates similarly to the X-PRO(P) so that I can use my Flashpoint/Godox (O) flashes with the X2T-P mounted on my K-3II.

Would like to add that I was able to mount my X-PRO(O) trigger on my K-3II and successfully fire a Flashpoint Mini (O) with the flash in manual mode. I didn't bother to try in P-TTL mode since the hotshoe/flash pins are different, so I don't know what, if anything, would happen.

Still a lot to be said for this little kit, which I no longer have.

Yep, I think the GX85 looks even better than the GX9 that followed it.

The entire R2 series is supposedly cross compatible. What I mean is that any dedicated brand specific flash can be triggered by any R2 transmitter. It isn’t clear if some functions are restricted. I have two Olympus/Panasonic triggers on order and 1 Pentax.
