I recently upgraded my travel/casual shooter from a Panasonic DMC-GF2 to a Olympus OM-D E-M5. Main reasons was ISO-performance, EVF and dynamic range. I must say that I am impressed! Now the files behaves somewhat similar to that from the Pentax APS-C bodies, meaning I can recover highlights and noise / color depth is much better at medium ISO (say 800-1600 range).

Olympus OM-D E-M5, Lumix G 14mm F2.5 ASPH. 1/80 sec at f/3.5, ISO 200

Olympus OM-D E-M5, Zuiko MC AUTO-S 50mm F1.8. 1/1000 sec at f/1.8, ISO 200

Just picked up a second hand OM-D E-M5 with the 25mm f/1.8 - extremely impressed, but particularly by the autofocus. De rigueur cat shot...:

Lovely shots. Btw. more or less the exact reasons why I have abandoned my Pentax-Gear. Size/weight beats the marginal quality improvements..

Perseids attempt with the Rokfish 7.5mm and EP5 near Indianapolis Indiana... sooo much light pollution. Iso 1600, f3.5, 30sec and reworked in photoshops raw editor using a technique from the following:

This thread has by far the best collection of m43 shots I've yet seen.

Here's a couple from the Oly 9-18 at 9mm:

I don't know about focus reducers, but there are plenty of options for PK to m43 adapters. I have a novoflex adapter, and have tried it with several F and FA lenses on my GX7. It works well.

I am looking for focal reducer - bringing 1 stop of light and reducing focal lenght by x 0.71

Did not find option with reliable good results.

My primary use is video. Thanks!
