I'm in. New to the Pentax digital family... I have been mostly a m4/3 shooter prior to now. I have however offloaded a lot of my m4/3 kit once I saw the results the k30 was giving me. One body I refuse to sell though is the olympus E-P2. I was reading on another blog about the fun factor of having a less serious digital camera on the side. I have always relied on 35mm film cameras for that (olympus XA, canon AF35ML, la Sardina...) While I still have the option to adapt my pentax glass to the Pen, I just ordered the infamous 15mm f/8 bcl. My intention is to mount it to Pen full time and shoot primarily in monochrome jpeg or with the art filters. To some this may sound nuts, but I've got the k30 for the fancy work.

Besides, photography shouldn't be taken seriously ALL of the time.

Well here it is... (Sorry for the large pics)

This combo is not meant to be taken seriously. I wrote a small essay here about it. Www.justanotherdadblog.com

Thanks @deadwolfbones!

Anyone have any recommendations on good K-mount -> M4/3 adapters? I figure buying one of these and trying out my Pentax lenses on the OM-D will keep me distracted long enough that I won't buy the 12 f/2, 25 f/1.4, 45 f/1.8, 75 f/1.8 etc. At least for a little while longer, heh...

Black and white series.

Camera head.

1/2 shutter speed Handheld. And I have a hand tremor. Can you say nice shake reduction?

Capturing a friend's new toy. Gotta say I like the feel of the OM-D much better, but having the Fuji too would be nice

Cat beholds its own reflection.

I like the $20 RainbowImaging adapters just fine.

They have one with aperture control but I'm not seeing it on their eBay store right now. You might try messaging them via eBay and asking if they have it in stock—it's worked for me in the past.

Here's the same one for a little more: Pentax PK K Mount Da AF Lens to Olympus Panasonic Micro 4 3 Adapter E P5 GF6 M43 | eBay

This cat's face makes me laugh every time I see it. It's as if it's saying: "Really buddy? You think so? Right..."

HEADS UP.
if your adapter and lens fit too loosely....

I was annoyed that my 50 was loose on the adapter, but there is an easy solution. The bayonet tabs on the adapter have a thin gap in them. Slide a small but strong pocket knife, or something similar, into the gap and rotate slightly. The lower metal is soft enough to flex downward and recreate a very snug fit for your lenses. Do with caution and blow out any possible metal shavings before mounting. Easy Day!

BTW, can't take credit for the solution. LuckyPenguin on another forum is the originator.
