Not 100% sure what's going on here but it all looks like a lot of bike-based fun. Great series!

I'm a month or so into ownership of the Olympus E-PL5 as a lighter option than the SLR. Still enjoying the process of learning my way round m43 and primarily taking it along on those times when I wouldn't bother to carry a bigger camera, but the IQ is great and I'm sure it will get more and more use as I adapt.

Thanks! It's an annual bike event where people from all over the world bike across the state of Iowa, stopping at towns small and large, eating food, and drinking-- a lot of drinking. For this reason it has come to be known variably as "Mardis Gras on Wheels" or "Spring Break for Grown Ups."

I was covering it for the online news service I work for.

These are very nice, perhaps it deserves it's reputation as the best M4/3 lens ever made.

I like these. What a wonderful venue to play with color.

Great colors in your captures. Been to 2 and they couldn't inflate due to windy conditions

Thanks... Yeah playing with Vibrant colors like these is new for me.. I normally stick to the muted vintage stuff and monochrome...

P.S. I see you got you Q up for grabs... You looking at a MFT or just one to many cameras?

I am invested in Sony NEX. I sure would love to see some Oly glass for NEX soon, now that they're partnered. My mother is a m4/3 shooter, and my buddy, with the GH3, of course. I have two Qs(One is my wife's), so I can let one go.

The new OMD E-M1 leaked?

(FT5) Olympus E-M1 gets leaked!!! | 43 Rumors

It's getting a lot of hate for its looks (if it's real), but it actually looks a lot like a mini K-5 to me. If they ever made a Pentax K-02 it'd be cool if it looked and functioned much like this camera.

I'll hate some more. First it looks like a mock-up, rather than the real thing. and lets hope its not the real thing, because that grip ruined a previously beautiful camera body. The add on battery/grip that was made for the E-M5 looked brilliant (although I'll admit I never got my hands on one). DSLR's should be functional. Smaller sensor cameras should be stylish.
