I am reluctant to call myself a cat person, but we do have cats (only two). And they can be good photographic subjects.

They are great subjects, for sure. They have big eyes and you're always left wondering just what they're thinking. I can appreciate them in print. I just hate interacting with them. In particular, I despise the feral cats that use my backyard as their toilet and nursery.

Fortunately, my father in law is allergic so I always have a good excuse not to let my kids get one. The only pets I dislike more are birds. I like dogs, but I don't want one of my own. I really have started to become a grumpy old man.
