Thanks Pablom!

Yesterday my new Panasonic 25mm had its first real world test. I was at a birthday dinner with friends and had a number of lenses in my bag (O 9mm FE, PL14mm, O 45mm and a Metz flash). However, I shot the entire evening just with the 25 - I am amazed! The combination of the EM5 and Pany is incredible. Smooth Bokeh, face detection focus and stabilizer is just wow. I could not use the flash due to the restaurants atmosphere, and I am very pleased with the high iso results of the EM5. I am going to the sell the 20mm sooner or later, as well as most of my Pentax gear.

Unfortunately I cannot share most of the shots. Hope you like the above nonetheless

All shot with the Olympus E-P5, a simply stellar camera. And the 45mm lens, my staple.

One of the shots I can share Suddenly two musicians entered the restaurant - a guitar player and a flute player. The blended perfectly into the atmosphere: loud enough to be heard, silent enough to keep discussions going. When the guy started singing, his voice was as rough as a rasp as he would have been drinking whisky all his life.

Should I upgrade my G3 to a GX7 and why go that route instead of the GH3 or G6? On the other hand maybe I should just get a new lens for my G3...was considering the Panasonic 20/1.7.

Excellent photo with an excellent lens (still one of my favourites)

Today I put my M42 to K-mount adaptor into my K to m4/3 adaptor Into that I screwed my SMC Takumar 135/3.5, and took this of my K-30 and my lens for the December single challenge (Sigma 30/1.4). I noticed afterward that the shutter speed was only 1/15", no shake reduction of course, and effective focal length 270mm or so (probably have to factor in the length of the adaptor). I'm quite surprised at how clearly it came out:

I got a couple new CMount lenses to try on my EP5…

APS-C 25mm F1.4 C-Mount

APS-C 35mm F1.6 C-Mount

These cover the m43 & APS-C size sensors… I will be taking them for a spin this week for some test shots..
