Some 4k video samples with the GX85 with Olympus 45 F1.8 lens at 1/50s, F2.2. Handheld. Fill the screen and view in 1440 or 4k to really see the quality.

I'm going to have to test a Panasonic lens to see if AF is any faster. But the image quality is quite nice, although I need to underexpose significantly to protect the highlights. Still, handheld 4k never looked so good.

Panasonic GX7, SMC DA 40 Ltd Pentax, wide open (I think) using a DA PK adapter.

I really need to stop looking at this thread. It keeps me wanting a m43 camera.

I'm currently on the look out of a well priced EM5 or EM5 mk2 and wanting to couple that with a Panasonic 12-32 for a nice and compact snapshots camera

Here's a still from 4k video:

And here it is with a little processing:

And here's the video:

Shot with the GX85 and 14-140 zoom at nearly maximum reach, viewing through the rear LCD.

The grab looks good, but I think that video has less exposure range and you really have to underexpose to avoid clipping highlights and you have to get as much right in camera as possible since you are working with a JPG afterwards.

I'm leaning that way myself. I picked up a GX7 with the 14-42 PZ lens and added a 9mm Fisheye Oly body cap, a 17mm f/2.8 Oly, a 30mm Sigma f/2.8, and a 35-100 Panasonic. The 35-100 is so nice and I miss the wide angle between the 14 and 9mm fisheye so I have thought about swapping out (selling) the 14-42 and picking up the 12-32. My PK DA adapter adds some additional flexibility but the wide end is tough to pull off other than maybe the 8mm fisheye. Adapted lenses on the long end can be complex due to FOV and bulk.
