Was playing around the cheap Oly 40-150 R zoom (used, a hundred bucks). If I improve my shooting skills, I think this lens is an incredible value for money.
Another bargain lens - a touch soft at the long end though, and always leaves me asking for more reach...

Hence the old OM 200mm (below)! Wish I'd tried my old M*300/4 on m43 before I got rid of it...

OM-D E-M5
Oly E.Zuiko 200/4 wide-open
Touch of unsharpness due to dim light
Bit of PP

I am not sure about the softness but in general I dont like those over-sharpened pictures too much. For example, your picture is fine for my eyes. I shot quite a lot at 150mm and I dont find them soft (of course, the pro lens I expect to be a lot better). Will post one or the other later. Reachwise - yes, I'd wish I had some mm more... I also have a Pentax 70-210 but since it has no AF, not even on Pentax, I am hesitant to use it in a Zoo.

As promised, a hyacinth macaw at 150mm with the cheapo zoom... Sharpness at "0" in OV3 & cropped, nothing else. Focus on the eye.

Nice macaw!

Not sure if I've posted this before, and it's only at 132mm not fully extended - but here's my cat with the little 40-150 wide-open:

A couple from me, both with the Oly 12-40mm f2.8. The first is not far from where I live. The second one is from a trip to Venice last year which I quite like but I missed it on my first picture selection. I've found it really worthwhile to go back over older sets of pics because there are always things I fail to spot the first time round. Like wine, I guess image selections are better if left to mature for a while.

Very interesting. I haven't heard of them. Do you have any more info?

I'm led to believe a division of Xoami who make mobile phones, theres a thread on Forums Mu-43.com, a resident of China doesn't expect great quality.I'll wait to see whats offered and see how the reviews and YouTube stuff goes.It will be a lot cheaper than Pano/Oly and if the action cams are any indication, quite highly specd.
