I'm at the limits of the GX85 + Lumix 12-35 F2.8 here, ISO 3200, shooting into strong lighting. Dual IS is really helping.

This shot is really somethin'. An intense photo of an intense, determined person.

It was a cold, grey day today and many of the restaurants had their lanterns lit at lunchtime. GF5 with Panasonic 42.5mm.

From the top of Cinder Cone, in Lassen Volcanic National Park, multiple shot panorama with an E-PL1 (shortly before I converted it for IR use) and the Oly 14-42v1:

It rained all morning and most of the afternoon today, which meant that it was one of those lovely evenings when the rain has lifted and the sun hangs low in the sky. Salarymen rushed out of their offices towards the bars and taxis plied their trade in Nishiki San-chome.

Australian Moon

I took this photo on 03 March 2017, in Perth, Western Australia. I like to try and grab a moonshot now and then.

The photo was taken using a Panasonic G85 with a K mount to Micro Four Thirds converter on a Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 at 200mm, on a Sigma 2x teleconverter...and then on a Sigma 1.4x teleconverter
Processed in Lightroom and I was reasonably happy with how this one turned out.

I'm quite new to micro four thirds, only having had this camera since December...the commentary and images from this thread helped convince me it was worth trying this format, so thanks everyone

Cheers
Dean

Some from the park, RAW edited in photoshop CC using Nik Silver Efex Pro 4 for that old film look.
The JPEG output from the LX100 is pretty bad, it works if you are just going to edit the pictures on the phone and upload to instagram but otherwise the images are just too soft. It must be a firmware issue as the RAW files are very sharp.
Still love the camera though, great control layout and having the m4/3 sensor in such a small package is nice.

Saw an old Four Thirds Olympus 50-200 f/2.8-3.5 (non-SWD) at a price I couldn't resist.

First day review - sharp and big! Autofocus both unreliable and very slow on an E-M5, and that body is too small to be comfortable with such a large lens.

(Full size on click.)

Had it on shutter-priority, so f/5.6 - but wide-open is not much softer...

And heavy (c.100%) crop:

And one wide-open:

Not sure of my future with this lens - the reason I got into m43 is because of it's small size (this is basically the same size/weight as a DA*300). But then, maybe I'll pick-up and E-M1 and re-evaluate...

I really wanted to capture the movement of cars. The Lumix GX85 + 12-35 F2.8 Dual OIS really helps with long exposures like this:

And I tend towards higher contrast, grittier photos with M43

I've spent the past week in Nara and Osaka - my first time in the Kansai region, despite all the time I've spent in Japan. For some reason they stand to the right on escalators there.
Anyway, M4/3 made my trip so easy - being able to carry the two GF bodies, wide-normal and tele zooms and a fast prime without even noticing it all being in my bag is really making me question why I am bothering to maintain an APS-C system.

Walkies in the snow - colder now than it has been all winter. Lovely afternoon, though.
