Spring has been threatening to spring here in Nagoya for about a month, and this week it finally arrived.

Lovely shot. How do you find the 75-300? I'm thinking about swapping one for my lovely 50-200/2.8-3.5 FT lens (as I find it negates the point of m43 by being pretty large...)

Its a very good travel lens for a long reach. Color rendition is better than the 12-50mm, sharpness suits my purposes. However, it is really a dark lens, iso gets up very fast.

I also own the 40-150mm R F4-5.6 which is use more often as I hardly ever need such a long lens, and I am currently about to test Fuji as an alternative.

A color edit of one of the photos from my last post on this thread (about 3 pages back). Shot with the LX100.
I do have to say it again, RAW files from this camera are pretty damn good....idk what panasonic did with the JPEG engine but the JPEGs are all very soft, even when turning up the sharpness in the camera.

Some more from the same day that I just edited:

and a few from easter:

Even though I'm not impressed by the JPEG output, I am overall impressed with what this sensor can do. Its almost there with some of the aps-c sensors. It will serve its purpose as the family camera.

A couple from me as spring gets underway here in England. The first is with the (wonderful) Oly 45mm f1.8 and the second one is with the Oly 12-40mm f2.8. Using EM1 or EM5.2

The wiltshire shot:
Strangely it reminds me of the tall grass prairie of my part of the world - form over detail.
Well done.

Thanks The white of the small hill is actually bright yellow oilseed rape. All over the place here. Not the nicest crop really, smells a bit rank and it affects honey (goes pale and hard if bees feed on too much of it). Much of Wiltshire is quite prairie-like - long rolling hills of grass or crops with big skies. The shot was taken on part of a quite large Neolithic stone circle complex - folks have been farming here since many hundreds pre BC, I guess.
