The 12-40 can go really close too - not something I'm used to:

More high resolution images, first with Oly 17/1.8, then with Rokinon 7.5/3.5:

Nice shot ! Before I switched to Pentax, I was looking at an Oly E-3, but then I noticed that the K-5 had more features. I was and still am impressed by the life-like quality that come out those cameras...

I was on my way to the garlic festival over a week ago and I looked down at my feet and saw how I liked how the light was. couldn't really keep the camera stabile enough while taking the shot but I still liked how it turned out. OMD em5ii with the Panasonic 12-32

Good to see. I am enjoying the high-res mode on my E-M5 Mark II though I do find it a bit fiddly and it really only works well either indoors or when conditions are right (not windy, no waves on water, etc) though I guess there may be workarounds for all that. But a helpful feature to have on board, imho.

Any reason you didn't open it wide up (just as sharp IME) and gained a couple of stops...?

Good question. Had the camera in aperture priority, tried opening it up a little more but decided against it. It was something with the light and the dof that i preferred having it at f8. It was just a challenge keeping the camera still.
