I have given alot of thinking on this little camera...still thinking of getting just that 12-60 and that is it/or 9-18...then again 7,5/2 Laowa seems quite attractive too........and 17mm prime. best might be that I just get that 12 laowa for my K-1 for ultra wide. and adapt it to this machine if needed. and get that 12-60 for travelling and what ever. I enjoy my K-1 still so much.

here is couple shots of 43 and 77... will give then proper run later this weekend, now that raining seems to be over.

FA43

FA77

elicar macro 90/2,4

(all pictures above are wide open)

and kit lens

thanks for good ideas and lens suggestions so far...really helpfull

Well, Ive been debating on reducing a good chunk of my gear to m43 because of how surprised I was with the image quality. So I decided to test out the Olympus em1 mark ii, heard great things about it especially the stabilization systems. Ill have more photos to come, but here is a sample of how great the mix between the lens os and ibis is. Olympus omd em1 ii with the 12-100 lens at 100mm hand held for two seconds.

now its not the sharpest picture by any means and I was moving when I took the picture, but I mean almost a sharp image with a 2 second shutter and the focal length being at 100mm. that is amazing if you think about it.

OMD 10 mk3

....Same processor as the big boy, shoots 4K video...16mp

A quick menu access, like Fuji has.

A neat video feature is that you can have either 2/4/8 second video clips...just press the video buttom and it'll take it.End of day,the camera will combine the clips and add a soundtrack of music,Which saves lots of time that Movie Maker takes to do the same thing.

Hi! Thanks!

it is quite cheap adapter from e-bay, I can adjust aperture with DA lenses too. DA P/K adapter I suppose.

here is couple more with it...and

FA 43

A400/5,6

and one with 14-42(collapsible one)

(sorry for many pictures..I had both good time and some bad time figuring this camera down...also realising some facts, like why there is more to it than just use for example 40 mm equiv. lens especially for portraits) Fun little thing still.

Well I'm bombing this thread with multiple shots...sorry for hijacking ... did little more tests, now with tripod. I shot handheld with my K-1 and on tripod with this little O-em5 II(I also switched to tripod on K-1 too at really dark).

Even that kit lens is really much better on tripod, little soul less, but good still. You do really want tripod for dusk/dawn shots.

and couple with tokina AT-X 235 pro(old model @ 20 mm stopped down.

I'm liking the Night shots with the Olympus especially that black and white one. Have you tried the Live comp mode feature yet?

Its a olympus feature. When doing exposures on a tripod, you can watch the photo take place and stop it when you like what you see. Great for fireworks, star trails, or city streets.

Went out to a different part of Pont Reyes National Seashore today, took the 645z and EM1 ii with the 12-100mm to see how it did with birds and more landscapes. I have to say I'm impressed with how it handles, it really makes tracking easy. change focus to AF-C tracking, keep object in box after locking focus, press shutter. Black out was a non issue, and the Green box helped.
