Thank you, it is worked a bit in post.. the place is at the bottom of a small valley, deep in tree shade, the light is actually a bit weird for this time of the year, extremely good weather, but also a extreme drought with it.... and wildfires

Now that you mention it, the light at the top of the last photo looks pretty harsh. You've done a good job processing.

Experimenting with the auto-focus-bracket feature. Did the stacking PP with Zerene. Looks good to me. Oly EM10 mk II & 60mm Oly macro.

I keep popping here for inspiration. I have been considering a Micro Four Thirds Camera for some time now. Looking at all these great photos is not helping me resist. I have been looking at the OM-D E-M10 Mark II since a new model came out. It seems to fit my needs. I will have to sell some of my ASP-C gear to fund it though which I am fine with. My only dilemma is what lens to get with it. The Pro lenses are out, they are just too much. I have been looking at the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-50mm f/3.5-6.3 EZ. That lense is most likely all I would really need. I do want something more compact to take out.

You might also like some of the less costly prime lenses like the Olympus 17mm, 25mm or 45mm, all f1.8. They are in keeping with the "keep it small" philosophy and none is particularly expensive. The 45mm is generally thought a bit of a bargain. Panasonic make some equally fine (and some think better) equivalents though I don't own any, just the Oly ones. Another reason is that a fast prime can be used at a wider aperture compared to a zoom and so help overcome the higher ISO come low-light disadvantages of smaller sensors. Robin Wong's blog shows what some of these smaller primes are capable of.

There are a good number of lenses to look at. I would check out either the Panasonic 12-32( inexpensive, decent quality, compact) or Look into some of the primes such as a 25 1.8 (compact, great colors). Of course there are some other great lenses as well, but those make for a small kit.

Fungus on a small branch (about 1/2 inch diameter) using the automatic focus-bracketing feature, EM10 mk II, 60mm Oly macro. I posted a crop from this same image on a different thread.

Another compact zoom to look at is the Panasonic Lumix 12-60 f3.5-5.6, which is better, optically, than the Oly 12-50 and is about the same weight and size.

^ What is the deal with this upcoming Panasonic G9? Is it like a semi-D500, 7D Mark II, OMD E-M1 Mark II, Sony A9 fighter? Like 20FPS with full AF? No blackout? This is rather interesting.

Thats a good question. Looks intriguing, does have some nice specs to it. Its almost seems like a A9 small brother.

I was looking at the pictures they have of the leaked photos. If this is the new G9, it looks very similar to the em1 ii. Just has some minor differences.
