I keep popping here for inspiration. I have been considering a Micro Four Thirds Camera for some time now. Looking at all these great photos is not helping me resist. I have been looking at the OM-D E-M10 Mark II since a new model came out. It seems to fit my needs. I will have to sell some of my ASP-C gear to fund it though which I am fine with. My only dilemma is what lens to get with it. The Pro lenses are out, they are just too much. I have been looking at the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-50mm f/3.5-6.3 EZ. That lense is most likely all I would really need. I do want something more compact to take out.
I went for an E-M5, Pany 12-32, Oly 25/1.8, Oly 45/1.8 and Oly 40-150R as I felt this was the best value for money way of getting a compact, fast 24-300mm equiv in m43. Having acquired, and then subsequently sold, the 12/2, 11-22 4/3rds, 12-40 Pro and 50-200 4/3rds, I am still very happy with my kit. Next up is the tiny 9-18mm, but it would be my most expensive lens!

Don't bypass the Panasonic 7-14mm. It's worth investigating as an alternative to the Oly 9-18mm. Two mm makes a big difference @ the WA end (14mm vs 18mm FF equivalent).

About 110 years late on that one definitely check your tetanus-shot status when the sand is up!

Peter Iredale was a four-masted steel barque sailing vessel that ran ashore October 25, 1906, on the Oregon coast en route to the Columbia River. Wikipedia

Great shots, out of curiosity...theres a long right hand point break in Oregon,a friend went there back in the 70s when making a movie.Band on the Run.(and they used Paul McCartneys song).Would this first shot be that place where the waves are very long and VERY cold?
