A wolfish tendency. Oly E-M1 and 40-150mm f2.8 plus in the first image the MC-14 teleconverter which takes the lens out to 210mm (i.e. to 420mm in FF-speak). All taken in a wolf conservation centre here in the UK. This might be a bit too close for comfort in the wild!

As with so many things in Nature, the closer you get the more beautiful and amazing they look.
Below, a pseudo-pano (= just a crop, not a stitch) of some ice crystals from last week. Pana GX8 + Canon-mount Sigma 150mm macro via adapter.

Very good to see these images. I first came across Klamath in a book of short stories by the late Raymond Carver (who eventually lived in Port Angeles, WA) and have always wondered what it was like.
