I agree... In fact Michael Johnston (The Online Photographer) mentioned recently (in the past few months) that adding grain at the end of PP can have
the effect of increasing the perceived sharpness of photos. In the case of this photo, I didn't need to add any.

The human eye-and-brain do odd, intuitively improbable things to the images that fall on our retinas, otherwise there would be no such thing as an "optical illusion." A series of still images, shown quickly enough, are perceived as a smooth motion. There are also edge-enhancement effects that our visual system imposes on reality. It may be that graininess of a particular dimension has that kind of effect.

I can't remember where I've posted images of the interior of Wilderness Lodge, but if I did it on thie thread, here is another. The grand lobby is a very pleasant place to relax and be glad you have no current responsibilities except pleasing yourself.

AFTERTHOUGHT ADDITION: I think I'll include the last image in the RTP folder of Wilderness lodge, looking down from one of the balconies to the central area of the lobby. Oly OMD 10 mkII + Pany 7-14. A bit of me-shake degrading both images.

That's a great - what should I call it? - - a "tank shot." I've taken a good many images of otters, belugas, polar bears through underwater windows, but none as nice as that one. Tanks () for sharing it

To bee or not to bee? Is that really a question?

Lens: Olympus M.Zuiko ED 40~150mm Camera: Olympus EPL-1 Photo Location: Sherwood Forest. ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F8

This guy landed about one nano second prior to the shutter being activated. Somewhat perturbed, I asked him if he was to be and he replied: " I sting, therefore I am." Well, I did not have to scratch my head too long on that one and beat feet ouddadare.

Thanks for viewing.

X-posted image. Pany GX8 with TSS adapter + Nikon 20mm f4 (old MF lens). Adjusting the tilt is much more difficult than with either the Canon or Samyang TSS lenses I've used.

Great shots! I particularly like the man reclining and the boy (?) kicking the setting sun.
