No. That's all engineering, and I'm all organismic biology + a smattering of geology (primarily "soft rock" = sedimentary).

I see. I know all about "Soft Rock." In fact I have one firmly planted on my neck. (

Actually, M.I.T. has had a world recognized Psych., department for over 40 years now.

Thnx.

Peering through the display window into a long-closed store in a ghost town (Silver City, Idaho). Pretty much impossible to avoid all reflections from the window as the sun was shining directly onto it. Samyang fish-eye on Oly OMD 10 mk II

METABONES ULTRA 0.71X

I originally mounted the Sigma using a no-glass adapter, but then I read several independent reviews each of which said they found that the 0.71X Ultra 1) improved resolution; 2) improved contrast; and also, of course, because this devise concentrates light, as opposed to spreading as a TC does, you actually gain one f-stop in brightness. The lens does not "become" an f2, but the concentration of light increases brightness such that you pick up one f-stop or shutter speed in any given light intensity. A downside, when the Sigma is attached using the glassless adapter, the FOV is equivalent to 300mm on a FF camera. (of course by using the smaller MFT sensor you are actually cropping the FOV). When the 0,71X is used, the FOV is equivalent to a 210mm lens used on a FF sensor.

It should become f2 since the focal length was reduced while the aperture opening remained the same. Very interesting thanks for the details.
