Sydney, as if you didn't know. The bridge & opera house, like the Empire State Building, Big Ben, Eiffel Tower & Arc du Triomphe, Washington Monument, Trevi Fountain, etc. have become instantly recognized landmarks of a particular city. I was looking for alternate viewpoints of the bridge.

TFW you’re looking through your photo library, see a couple of pics that prompt a “wow what lens did I use for that?? Better have another play with that one; it’s great”

...

And then pull up the file info and discover it wasn’t your Pentax at all, but your little LUMIX G-10. - With what is, actually, a damn good lens: their little 20mm f1.7

(Kind of a pity the mode dial is weirding out.)

Lol. I find that all the time both ways. The 20 f1.7 is a nice lens.

Laowa 7.5mm, Pany G9. Looks polarized, but no filter used.

Pany 7-14mm on G9. This UWA zoom has, IMHO, better IQ than the Laowa used for the preceding image. However, the Laowa is incredibly small and two stops faster, useful for dim light especially indoors, an easy lens to carry around a museum or when during a tour of a historic home.

I am debating about a street photography walkabout lens. I am trying to choose between the Panny 14mm, the Panny-Leica 15mm, the 17mm oly, or the 20mm Panny. I prefer the 24-30mm for my walk around lens. I find the 4/3 ratio I want a wider lens than the straight 2x crop factor, and the 15mm is probably pricing out of my price range for a second system lens used in special situations

Are those favored focal lengths stated based on apsc or full frame?

I used the 17mm f2.8 Oly which I think is underrated. I sold it and got the 20mm f1.7 but I think the 17mm perspective was nice. The f1.8 version is larger which I haven't felt motivated to get.

I had the 14mm f2.5 I think but I can't recall why I sold it. Maybe it was traded by my dad when he got another m43 lens? In any case the wider perspective is nice to have. Today I use the 12-32 for wider shouts and my dad uses a 12-35.
