I have big meaty hands. Neither the Panasonic GX-7 nor the Oly EM1 are too small. Even the Panny GX1 isn't terrible to use.

The Panny 45-175 is a fine long lens.

More experiments with weird lenses - this time a huge 1"/25mm f2.8 Navitar slide projector lens which I had to hand-hold in front of my Lumix G1 with some extension tubes as spacers. Not rigid so it may not have been exactly at 90% to the sensor. Just my usual out of the window subjects since I just wanted a few pictures to list the lens on eBay:

Some colour. It's still at the tail end of winter here, and a local green/glasshouse is a great place to start.
These are re-sized Jpgs SOOC; std profile, 0 contrast, -2 sharpening, +1 colour, -5 NR. Seems to be working quite well. I was using the 12-60 Lumix, which does seem quite sharp.

Yikes...
My favourite Oz story is sitting in a (saltwater) pool in Cairns around dusk a number of years ago with beer in hand, and reflecting on the large numbers of birds that were flying by. That turned out to be bats, heading for the local plantations to stock up overnight.

The Shed (Hudson Yards)

The Shed (Hudson Yards)

The Shed is an arts center housed in the Bloomberg Building.
It makes me think of the armored fighting vehicles from the Star Wars.

Trying out the panny 45-175. Spring is taking an age to get here this year, it seems:

Accommodations in our glamping "tent" in the red interior. The rug is visually attractive, I'm sure the designer is proud of it, but it isn't the best surface to walk upon, nor the easiest for pulling a chair closer to a coffee table.
