Waiting patiently for the adapter to arrive...

On another note - Anyone tried the $80 TTArtisan 35mm f/1.4 on MFT?

Experimenting with DOF. A 20mm f2.8 Nikon (old) on a tilt-shift adapter, Pany GX8.

I picked up an Olympus 9mm F8 fisheye for my Panasonic GM1. What a fun and inexpensive little lens. The sharpness is surprising, at least close up, and I'm impressed with the colour. I took a few random shots around the back yard to try it. I can't wait for an opportunity to go for an urban walk with it.

That is one of my favorite fun lenses.

I love my copy of that lens. I think you used it rather well on that flower also.

Thanks. Glad you liked the image. Difficult to get a flower image that will attract some attention. Too many good ones from others.

This is another backyard shot from the other day, only this time with the Lumix G 42.5mm F1.7 on the GM1.

The image is uncropped. I have a second cropped image in my GM1 Micro 4/3 album, and I'm of two minds which I prefer. In a way I prefer this image since it suggests the lone coloured leaf down in a tunnel of green. That effect is lost when cropped.

g95 and pana leica 100-400, processed in darktable
the first one is unavoidably noisy due to low light, the second surprised me being sharp at 1/20s and 167mm (so 334mm equivalent)

I like that your images look natural. Too many of the images on the 300mm lens forum look far too processed, sometimes to the point of looking artificial.

There is nothing quite as smooth as a rich amber beer, and your image portrays that perfectly. Now you have me wanting to go shopping for beer tomorrow. And trust me, I don't need additional motivation.
