There is nothing quite as smooth as a rich amber beer, and your image portrays that perfectly. Now you have me wanting to go shopping for beer tomorrow. And trust me, I don't need additional motivation.
Glad to always be of assistance in the beverage department! Just in case, the brew was Blue Point Toasted Lager... great everyday autumn beer.

Stepping back into M43 with the Olympus OM-D EM-1 III and the 12-40 2.8 PRO
After a long back and forth with myself this seemed like the best option for some work assignments now and again, combined with occasional personal use for snapshots and video.
Certainly feels like the most well-built camera I've ever handled. Excited to start shooting with this thing!

I know this image is no award winner, but I'm having so much fun with this inexpensive plastic Olympus 9mm pancake fisheye. This little lens is a riot. There is no adjustable focus. There is a small lever on the front of the lens that you can set for under .2M, mid range, and infinity focus. But with F8 fixed aperture, that works fine.

Yes, this is another backyard image taken the other day in the late afternoon sun. I held the camera tilted down over my head, snapped the shutter, and hoped for the best. I could have retrieved a small kitchen stool to stand on, but that smacks of too much professionalism for me. (Besides, I had an open beer in the house waiting for me, so I was in a rush. ) This is not cropped. I could crop some of the left side, but I liked the strong blue sky in the upper left, so I left it. The only problem with F8 fixed aperture is the depth of field. I don't like the houses in the background, but you can't have everything for $89 CAD.

Panasonic GX8, Sigma 150mm f2.8 macro (Canon mount) via Metabones "ultra" adapter (makes the lens an actual 105mm f2.0 = effectively equivalent to a 210mm f2.0 on FF). Substantial crop.

Great shot. The combination of the young girl's posture and moody lighting are powerful. Plus the whimsical splash of colour on the Mickey Mouse pillow for contrasting viewer emotion. Your daughter I assume?

Jupiter 37. I don’t know why there was such a drop in contrast. Of course marriage. But the personality is remarkable. Entourage.

The Personality itself.

Just a beautiful photograph!

Congrats on the house... I just celebrated our first anniversary in our new house. You'll really cherrish those first few months of unpacking and settling in.
