Just use the Olympus lens of your choice on the Panasonic body.
Hmmm, don't I lose some IS though?

Template:Micro Four Thirds cameras - Wikipedia The table is not entirely accurate, but it gives an idea. There are Panasonic cameras with stabilization. Another thing is important, you must be ready for a different color, and a different autofocus operation. Not everyone is satisfied with his work if you need to shoot moving objects. What I saw with my own eyes, I strongly disliked.

Very helpful --- but also kind of sobering. I was seriously considering the G9 should I have to get another m43 camera, as the G9 seems like the best m43 camera on the market for stills (and I prefer Panasonic's in-camera processing for raw files). But if DFD doesn't work with Olympus lenses, it becomes a non-starter for me.

Meanwhile, another image from the Oly 100-400:

I recently got hold of a couple of Pentax 110 lenses and a Pixco 110 to M4/3 adapter, and took them for a stroll in Kensington Gardens today. I was surprised at first that the results for the 18mm Pentax were a little better than the 24mm, but I'm guessing that 24mm was the standard cheap and cheerful kit lens, 18mm was the expensive wide angle lens. A couple of examples:

18mm

24mm

Nice - very vibrant colours. Reminds me that I really want to take out my most extreme lenses with my DMC-G3 - Vivitar Series 1 100-500 and Samyang 8mm, both for Nikon but I've got an adapter. Trouble is that with the epidemic etc. I can't really go anywhere particularly novel, and I've taken rather a lot of pictures of places in walking distance such as the Albert Memorial, it's hard to stay excited about them.

Thanks. The Oly lens has excellent contrast and color — which helps to make up for lack pro sharpness. Another image from same lens:

An aimless "Covid Times" shot I rather like.

I was using a Pana GX8 with Oly 12~45mm f4 to do some table-top imaging. The tilting viewfinder of the Pany and the zoom range of the Oly are handy. The first image below has color/contrast/exposure tweaking in PP, but no sharpening applied. The second image is a crop from the first. The third image has sharpening applied. The little 12~45mm f4 Oly performs better than expected.
