If true, I'd seriously consider switching over in about a year or so. Pair a $1500-$1700 D600 with the 28mm f/1.8, 50mm f/1.8 and the 85mm f/1.8 and you've got a pretty nice setup.
I've currently been using a K200D with the 15mm and 40mm Limiteds along with the 58mm Voigtlander - but I've been wanting more resolution, a better AF system and a large, bright, gorgeous VF that a 24x36mm format camera can provide.
I have owned my D600 a few days now, and taken a few hundred shots - I'm just blown away! So the Pentax cameras and lenses are gone, at least most, and I must say had Pentax even hinted about a FF camera I'd been a Pentaxian still. But, alas, no more! And the DA50-135 debacle (not even a little rebate offer - it really sucks) made me think twice before upgrading my Pentax stuff, so now I'm a Pentaxian, first, and foremost!
Steep learning curve to get fully used to the D600, but it sure takes awesome photos, even with me behind the viewfinder! A K-5 on steroids would maybe be similar?! Not a little amazed, and stunned! I used to have four Pentax DSLRs, now I have one, and three Nikon DSLRs, if you include the superb V1!
