Great value for the money is an interesting if subjective question. For my money the following lenses from my manual focus collection qualify.

K 24/2.8 – great K series build wonderful optic

M 50/4 macro – the real sleeper in the M series line-up. Light, well built, painfully sharp
and can be had for about $100.

K 300/4 – this less has its detractors (CAs/PF no tripod mount) but can be ad for around $200 the last time I looked. Best bargain 300mm out there and built like a tank.
