Folks, if it's OK, I'd like to start a 1 inch thread to cover Sony, Panasonic and Nikon 1. I appreciate there is a lot of cross-over between here and the toy camera thread.

Many thanks - I will keep going on that one. I've previously had Nikon 1" too.

From last summer, Looking down on the Loch Sloy hydro-electric dam:




It definitely puts things in perspective since this dam looks huge when you're standing in front of it.

The RX100 series is great for close-up images too

Here's a close up of a purple Morning Glory, a species invasive to the Cape, but glorious nonetheless.

Protea repens "Red Sugarbush" at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, Cape Town - the Sony's tilt screen comes in very handy at times.
