Hasselblad announces 24MP Lunar - an 'ultimate luxury' mirrorless camera: Digital Photography Review

Oh, APS-C... why didn't they just make a luxury RX-1 with E-mount and slap Hasselblad on the nameplate?

btw, the front is ugly. The back looks worse. And yeah, this camera makes Marc Newson look like a legit camera designer =))

the sketch looks better..

Maybe 2 years ago, but there are more and more high quality E mount lenses on the market now and coming in a few months, including the new Zeiss primes.

HOT news!!! Zeiss announces the 2.8/12, 1.8/32 and 2.8/50 macro for NEX!!! | sonyalpharumors

By mid 2013, the old argument about shabby E glass will be dead.

This new Hassy is a very very bad joke.

A gaudy steampunked NEX-7 for Euro 5K? Sad days for a once-great company.

Hasselblad has completely lost it, and embarrassing enough they lie:

"This is not a NEX 7 camera, just because we are buying components from Sony. The hardware is just a small part of the whole. It's not because we're using a Sony sensor that it makes the Lunar a Sony camera."

http://www.bjp-online.com/british-journal-of-photography/news/2206781/hassel...h-lunar-camera

And here's the proof that they lie:

I reckon the rich middle-class Chinese and Russian markets will snap these up for no reason other than to spend silly money on something silly.

Here's how I see it...

Gentlemen, produce the ugliest camera you can think of, and price it sky high......there are plenty of idiots left in this world that need to be addressed. Let's give them what they want!
