How could a Pentax FF be cost effective?

Reading the specs of the Canon 6D has me thinking... what if there were a Pentax 6D.

Say I put together a Pentax system in rough numbers...

Pentax k-5 1k
21 ltd.. .5k
31 1k
FA 50- .5k
Sigma 85 1.5-1k
Tamron 70-200 2.8 1k

That's 5 k

So I pay 2k for a Pentax 6D

But, I don't need the 21 ltd... I put the 31 on the Pentax 6D and i have the equivalent field of view.

I don't need the FA 50
I put the Sigma 85 on the Pentax 6D and I have the same field of view.

So for $2000 cost.. I'm saving $1500

I have no doubt the 31 is better than the 21 so I'd be increasing my IQ in some cases. Really it turns each lens into two lenses, same hig end quality, different FoVs... with careful planning an APS-c / FF wouldn't cost anymore than an equivalent APS-c system, and could considerably increase the value of high end lenses by doing double duty on two different formats.

Just a thought.

I will be using my Pentax APS-C and FF lenses on the new FF NEX-VG900 with low cost adapters . It has a wider range of shutter speeds (30-1/8000 ) than the Nikon D600 or Canon 6D (30-1/4000 ) .

How much functionality do you get with that? Autofocus? Auto -exposure? 3 grand seems like a lot... especially since i wouldn't make use of the movie stuff. Id' just have to buy more lenses to make it worthwhile I guess. Getting a Sigma 300 prime would make it more cost effective I guess. But then I'd have to spend 4 grand plus the 3k for the camera. But an interesting proposal. I went through the same thing with the Canon 6D, but the functionality of the adapter leaves a lot to be desired. My lenses would have more functionality on a K-mount camera.

It would be the same as what I get with my Pentax lenses on the GH2 but with a FF sensor compared to a 2x crop m4/3rds sensor. I shoot more video than stills so the VG900 is a no brainer for me.
