The K-5II is better. And you probably already have some lenses for it.

The thing is, the K-5 and that Nikon have the same Sony sensor, but Pentax squeezed more out of it (allows ISO 50, has better noise performance..). The K-5II also has an improved focusing module.
The K-5II is WR and it is newer. It also allows both expensive as well as legacy lenses to be used perfectly well. With Nikon you need a map to figure out which lens will work and to what extent.

I also agree it's better to get the K5, if only for the reason that you already have some lenses for it (even if you just have the bundle lens, that's 1 less lens to buy). I don't have any experience with either camera (I have the K-30) so I can't give you much more advice, sorry.
But this is a Pentax forum, so I bet you everybody will advise you to choose the K5. So if you are seriously thinking about the Nikon, it would probably be good to go to some other forums (such as a nikon forum) to get more information.

Sounds like a job for the K5II (or possibly K30 even).
