Just purchased this camera.. Apparently there's firmware bugs which haven't been fixed in their latest update. But anyway, here's another problem - the videos are very choppy on my work PC - but after uploading to YouTube they are not choppy anymore. Does that mean the PC doesn't have high enough configuration to play them?

I think the Hero3 Black records at 4k, which is huge. Your computer probably chokes on it. I imagine that Youtube reformats the video as something lower resolution that your computer can handle.

I was shooting at 1080p only

OK, it turned out that my work PC is not up to standards... Came back home and viewed the videos on my MacBook Pro, smooth as!
