Been away for a while... you guys are giving the sigmas a good workout. I'm liking the fall, water/boat, scenic and industrial pics. The beach (federal) park i visit was closed and the pool is getting a bit chilly so i got the bike out of the trunk and pulled out the DP2m. Nothing special but i'm still loving this camera.

From today's walk, it was a Foveon kind of day. I take turns... who gets to go today...K-3?, K-01? , DP2M?

Since the images in your earlier post had Tess's signature, I expected you were taking turns with her using the DP2M. But wait, did you trade in the K5 for a K3 or is that just a typo? Inquiring minds want to know.

Trying to make the best of a gap in time after sending my daughter for lessons, so cycled to the nearest vantage point I could find.

How do you guys control the strong yellow hue from tungsten street lamps?
Its an odd 'green+yellow' as far as I can tell.
I could not get it corrected in SPP5, so did the best I could using 'standard color mode' and then did the rest of the WB correction in JPG.

open SPP, one of the correction has a color ball.
Default is set to middle.
You would probably need to choose to the left (blue side) to correct the yellowish.

Another one from DP1m.

As the Dp1m is a 'landscapes' only camera for me, I don't get to use it as much as I like to.
But whenever I open up the files in SPP5, I feel so happy with the IQ.
There is this 'pop' in it that I don't get on any other camera I have.

Sorry, I missed that. I borrowed it with an option to buy... now it's mine.
This is why I only browse this thread now. Haven't gotten a DP3M to replace the DP2M I sent up north to Norm, and the K-3 preorder has taken the budget away for it anyhow.

It's a lot of work, but I absolutely love the images when I get one.
My thoughts exactly! I can imagine that printing some of these glorious autumn shots you're posting will be the next big thrill.
