) looks like somebody frozen in place by a horrendous gust of arctic air. I like your retouch of the pensive tour boat guy, too.

I spent the holidays at my Great Aunt and Uncle's house in Wickenburg, which is mostly a retirement community for old west/cowboy types. Lots of snowbirds, too. The town's older than Phoenix, and it's actually the reason the big city was founded, but that's another story.
I spent some time with the 18-35 in a barn at Simpson Ranch. Lots of good photographic opportunities there.
Oh, his one was actually the 12-24 at 12mm and f/8 on a tripod. I had to climb up on top of all the hay to get here. Fun times.
