Personally, I'm pretty happy with the "true" 14.5 MP of the Foveon Merrill generation. Going "down" to 4.9 MP in both red and green resolution with the 19.6 MP only being in the blue channel seems like the wrong direction. Obviously, the proof will be in the pudding, so to speak... can't wait to see sample images!

Yes, but just because all our cameras are about to be outdated in a few months doesn't mean we can't play with the ones we already have!

ISO 100, 18-35 at 18mm and f/4

Great shot as always Ian, but you're making it very hard for me to resist that 18-35. It just seems to match the SD1 perfectly!

Anyone interested in an SA-mount 17-50 f/2.8 OS? How about a 12-24?

Always here to help!

You know, that 12-24 is great. I'm sure the 17-50 is too, but I've never used it. The only reason I'd get rid of my 12-24 would be to get the 8-16mm, which I plan on doing sometime. Maybe when the SD Quattro comes out.

ISO 100, 12mm f/8

ISO 200, 12mm f/5.6

A few from the last few months, I'm thinking a DP1 Quatro for landscapes and the Dp2 for this kind of stuff, my collection from the last few months...

OK so a few of those are landscapes, but enough are walk around images, 25 new images added today , the whole collection is here...

As well you should, especially now that the new model is coming out and the Merrills will likely get much cheaper.
